"Here is a picture from our match at nationals! We shot a team record score of 213 seconds and got 3rd place! We missed out on second place by just over 4 seconds combined. We are very please with this performance and we cannot wait for USPSA regionals in April. Those must have been lucky hats."
The favorite camera for the world’s top sport shooters readies for a new season of competition.
The Tachyon GunCam- Full-HD 1080p, weighs in at only 1.9 oz. (54 grams), so it sits light and unobtrusive on shooter’s caps. Centered on their heads and above their guns, they are perfectly placed to capture dramatic videos of both practice and competition.
The GunCam utilizes a wide-angle lens that captures hands, guns and targets, but without the undesired fish-eye effect that you find with most other cameras.
The GunCam is ideal for IDPA, USPSA, IPSC, ISSF, 3 Gun Nation, and NSSF shooters.
Optional Sport Shooting Software, specifically designed for competition, ensures that your battery and memory card will last all day by automatically stopping recording after two minutes. This lets the shooter concentrate on the competition and not on turning off the camera, and enables the recording of a long day of competition without missing a single shot.
Standard non-stop software as well as other software targeted at different sports or uses, such as for motorcycles, dash cams with looping, law enforcement with Time & Date stamp, or hunting, give the user great control over camera operation.
The Full-HD 1080p GunCam for Sport Shooting, which includes the GunCam, Cap Mount, a Contour and Tripod mount, Rain/Dust proof Cover and a shooting cap can be purchased for only $199.99 from Tachyon’s Sport Shooting page. Free shipping within the US, and reasonable shipping rates worldwide. No sales tax other than for TX residents.
Tachyon also offers a collection of zinc-alloy rails for mounting your GunCam to almost any gun that you own. Our GunCam Bundle, priced at $249.99, is ideal for those who wish to record a wide variety of gun sports. The GunCam Bundle is available at our GunCam page.

Message from Tim Cavazos:
Hello fellow shooters,
As you may have heard our longtime match director at Johnson County and shooting buddy, John Harris, was diagnosed with a rare aggressive cancer.
He and wife Peggy have been driving back and forth to M.D. Anderson in Houston for his treatments and Chemo... running up a lot of $$$$ expenses.
To show our support and help John in his fight against cancer, the club will be putting on a 5-7 stage match on March 7, the regularly scheduled first Saturday match.
Johnson County has given us the range for the whole day, 4-H folks will be there selling breakfast and lunches.
The Charity match will enable you to become eligible for the many donated prizes that have been generously donated. Charity Match fee will be $50.00. Prizes will be awarded by random drawing raffle ticket method. Match start time is 10AM.
Please feel free to send this to any of your shooting cohorts who may have run into John over the last 20 years.
We will have a large bucket at the range for donations. If you can't make it and would like to donate to a worthy cause, please email Pat bashford at firstname.lastname@example.org to request his mailing address. You can send your donation regular mail, these will be unopened and put in the bucket or you may donate via PayPal. Transfer funds to Pat or Ves' PayPal account using the Pat Bashford or Ves McDonald email address.
