Our helmet cams come equipped with multiple mounting systems that easily attach your cam to helmets, goggles, sports equipment, dashboards and more.
Loss of video due to loose battery connections is the number one complaint of helmet camera users. It is for this reason that Tachyon developed our patented shock-proof battery cartridge system to keep the batteries locked in and secure, preventing loss of valuable video. The 2010 XC's new high-dynamic image sensor and a 90 degree wide angle lens (matching the sweet spot of human vision) give users clear, undistorted helmet camera video from even low-light situations and under water.
The 2010 XC helmet cam can also make use of the full range of SDHC cards; from 4 to 32GB. This allows helmet cam users up to 8 hours of recording on the highest settings, using lithium batteries and a 32GB SDHC card.
The XC's great low-light sensitivity, coupled with Tachyon's Green Power Pack (rechargeable battery cartridge with wall socket and car light adaptors), adds additional functions to the 2010 XC, turning your helmet camera into a surveillance camera, nanny cam, scouting/hunting camera, or on-board accident camera.
