For watching video on your Android smart phones or tablets, you may use our Micro USB or Type C adapters.  ​We also recommend the Free VLC app for those devices.
Is the playback of your video slow and choppy?
  • Your computer may not be fast enough to play the file off of the camera, so try copying the video file to your computer desktop first, and then playing it back.
  • Our cameras require Class 10 memory cards for recording, for the same reason that you need Premium gas in your car. Fast cards are faster to write to and faster to read from.
  • For 4GB-32GB SDHC cards, you should format the cards to FAT32 and 32 kilobytes. For 64GB SDXC cards, just follow the default settings. You need to format because it may be that if the card was taken from another device, there may be segments of the memory that are being used by programs installed by a previous device. Note that the capacity of your card may not show correctly until after you format it.

This adapter fits between your Tachyon camera's included USB cable and your Android smart phone's Micro USB socket. 

This only works with USB 2.0 Micro-B 5 pin sockets, which are the most common on today's Samsung and other Android phones.

This only works with USB 3.0 type C sockets, which will soon become the international standard. Please double check your smart phone's specs before purchasing.
